The Principal Secretary to Govt., Skill Development Department J&K , Dr. Asgar Hassan samoon (IAS) visited Govt. Polytechnic College Samba on 12th November 2021. The Director Skill Development Department J&K , Sh. Sudershan Kumar (JKAS) and the Additional District Development commissioner, Sh. Tilak Raj Sharma (JKAS) also accompanied him. The principal of the Institution Er. Vinod Azad , along with staff gave a healthy welcome to the visiting dignitaries. He presented a Power Point Presentation.

During the visit he inspected the Institution and had an interaction with the Staff as well as the Students. He also suggested for making MOU with the leading Industries , Institution and Introduction of new courses like Medical lab. Technology, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. He appreciated the cleanliness in the Institution.
